Whose agency has the most ballers?

Get pumped for the 1st Annual Ad 2 SD Kickball Tournament! We’re kicking it off this June at Kate Sessions and the Tournament is guaranteed to be an exciting event with fun people. We encourage funky, fun team names and outfits!

Kickball Tournament Details:

• When: Saturday, June 12, 2010
• Where: Kate O Sessions Memorial Park, La Jolla (North of Garnet Ave & Lamont St)
• We are planning on setting up on the north side of the park. There is a flat area to the North of the drive way that has a large playground area.
• Beverages and food BYOB! (no glass containers).
• Time:2 – 6pm
• What to wear: Clothing that makes you run fast and kick the ball hard! Bring sunscreen, water, a chair to sit on, and a fun attitude.
• Rules: Round robin and then double elimination play. Please arrive at 2 for rules briefing and scheduling.

Players, Groups & Teams:

Sign up an Entire Team, in Smaller Groups, or Individually. Teams will consist of 8-14 people each, and smaller groups and individuals will be grouped together. The bracket will be determined based on the number of teams.

*To register in smaller groups, register individually and enter “Group: (your group name)” under the Company field so we can make sure you are on the same team with your friends!

It was the night of a typhoon at Typhoon Saloon in Pacific Beach but we still had a great showing of current and new members come out. About 35 people joined us on the stormy night representing almost every agency in SD as well as some welcomed new comers from Maine and Minnesota.

Ad2 Happy Hours are meant to bring young professionals in the advertising community together to share ideas, discuss jobs, and have fun.

Come join us for Happy Hour on Friday, November 13, from 8pm to 11pm to welcome our fellow national Ad 2 members  and kick off our mid year retreat.  We will begin at the Dana for a cocktail party from 6-8. From there we will head to the beach Beachcomber at 8pm and then Sandbar at 11pm.

Also, on Saturday, November 14, Ad 2 San Diego will be hosting a social mixer at Las Hadas  at 9pm in  and then we will be moving the party to Basic pizza in downtown.

North and South met, and good times were had by all. Special
thanks to everyone who attended last months North County happy
hour in Encinitas. We had a great turn out of about 30 people at
Beachside Bar & Grill.

We met some new agency folks like Zeta
Interactive, we had the new USD group show and overall made some
new connections and friends. Stay tuned for the next AD2SD happy
hour event, they are a great, casual way to meet new people in
the advertising community.
